    The belly button is usually considered to be a beautiful body art. It is also better known as navel piercing. Generally people use a barbell to completely pierce the navel and to keep it till it is completely healed.

    As far as the consultation provided by websites as well as coaches, it is advisable not to swim for at least 2 weeks after having your belly button pierced. This could be because of certain infection that you might catch up with. Or the other reason provided is that it could possibly tear more apart only to enlarge the hole further, which could also lead to bleeding followed by severe infection.
