Twenty years ago, the choice of limousine vehicle was fairly limited, the same cars being used for weddings and funerals.
Today, though, times have changed. Diversification is the buzzword in the limousine services sector and this is being reflected not only in the marketing collateral of the industry, but in the fleet of vehicles they now operate.
While sedate sedans, luxury business-like limos and top of the range people carriers still very much figure in limousine fleets, they are being joined by an ever growing breed of new vehicles. Aimed at the 'fun' end of the marketplace, today's new limos come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Each has a particular niche in mind, be it the white 20 seater stretch limo so beloved of celebrity-packed premieres, disco lit party-mobiles, luxury leather-swathed tour buses, or street-cred-inducing stretch Hummers. In short, a vehicle for every occasion.
