What Are Some Differences Between Dna And Rna?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

There are various differences between DNA and RNA. Firstly, ribose sugar is present in RNA while deoxyribose sugar is present in DNA. Secondly, four nitrogenous bases in DNA include adenine, guanine, cytosine and thymine while nitrogenous bases in RNA include adenine, guanine, cytosine and uracil. Thirdly, DNA is double strnaded while RNA has a single strand. The two strands of DNA are complementary to each other. In addition, RNA copies the genetic information that is present in the DNA and then it uses this information to assemble protein, as well as ribosomes.
