What Was The Stance Of The New York Times About The Perpetual Support Of The Bush Administration For Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf?

The New York Times, one of the most prestigious and acknowledged voices in the print media of the United States, went ahead to censure the injustifiable policies of the Bush administration who was still providing its full support to the Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf despite of his dictatorial and arbitrarily unlawful practices.

An observation was made on behalf of the New York Times about the Bush administration and the militant Pakistani leader that the more President Musharraf was getting himself involved in the labyrinth of polluted politics, the more tightly the Bush administration was clinging on to him. The newspaper further declared both in terms of Pakistan's support in the war against terrorism and Pakistan's national policies that the role of General Pervez Musharraf was not reliable at all as there was no sense of security with him, neither regarding the Pakistani nation nor with his role of an ally of the United States.
