Inline hockey is very similar to ice hockey. It can also be considered as a variation to the roller hockey. The game is usually played by two teams having four players/skaters and one goalie in each of the teams. The game is normally played in periods of 20 minutes each. There is only one competitive inline hockey. This competitive hockey is bound by the governing set of rules. It is normally played as a non-checking sport. This is the reason why it is played in a slightly different manner of spirit than ice hockey. The game is played with a plastic puck and with a ball.
