It really depends on the flea shampoo. Some are stronger than others and not good for young kittens, so you should read always read the label. What your supposed to do is bathe and spray the mother and wash and spray what they lay on so it will rub off on them without direct contact. However, if your fleas are bad enough it is much more dangerous not to bathe them. So if you really need to, do it or you could lose them.
