Dinosaurs were reptiles, so yes they were cold blooded. Also, the theory of their extinction having been caused by the weather, is very possible. That is definitely something that scientists should consider looking into.

While no one can know for sure, there is more and more evidence that most dinosaurs were "Warmblooded", or endothermic. Several specimens of preserved saurian innards have been collected, and in those cases, the hearts of the dinosaurs had four chambers, like a bird, or mammal, not three chambers, like a reptile. Apart from physical evidence, it has also been determined that, in order to pump blood properly through their immense neck, sauropods needed a powerful heart. However, even if they were endothermic, severe climate change could still kill the dinosaurs as well as other warm blooded animals.
