How Do You Kill Fleas On Hardwood Floors?

I set off 3 bombs, then sprinkled a bag of seven dust, then called the proffessionals and I still have fleas jumping on me when I open the door. Its been a month and this is an empty house.

Did you SevenDust the yard? Sounds like your problem is outside and your carrying them inside. I had flea problems recently. Have 4 indoor only cats, that have never been outside. All the sudden, they got fleas. 1 day my car broke down outside my unit, while standing next to car, I discovered why my cats had fleas.

My entire parking lot, no matter where I stood on the cement, fleas were jumping on me. I soon discovered other residents in my building without pets had flea problems. We were carrying them inside on our clothing just getting in and out of our cars. Try sevendusting the entire yard and cemented areas. And try sevendust inside again, you may have not used enough. I use so much it looks like smoke in the air and gets everywhere and a layer thick. It also helps to vaccum the carpets alot to get eggs and adult fleas out of the carpets. Make sure to empty the vaccum after each use too. And reapply sevendust afterwards.

Also, Do you have mice or rat problems in this home? They carry fleas. If you do, they are carrying it from the untreated outside. Get rid of them or the problem won't go away inside.
