How Effective Is Cycling?

    Cycling is extremely effective in building up your general level of fitness.  In terms of raw muscle use the legs are obviously the biggest to benefit, but your entire body will be working positively.

    Cycling is also effective in getting about - especially in busy built-up areas.  Stick to the rules of the road though; be courteous to others (even if you're the victim of other people's bad actions), think ahead.  Do all this and you will arrive in a much more positive mental state because of the endorphins released from the exercise.
