    I have already asked this question. However, for your convenience here is the answer once again. In order to burn Wav Files to CD on a windows media player you have to ensure that the windows show all type of file extensions. Also Wav is a format that acts as an envelope around a general RIFF, showing the audio content as compressed whereas the burning software (if it`s NERO) expects uncompressed PCM in Wav format.       I wont recommend burning with windows programs. The best is to get Nero. You will never have problems with it and it is always easy to use and very stable.
