    Bedford lies in the County of Bedfordshire and is its County Town. The town of Bedford is located West of Lynchburg, South of Lexington and Buena Vista and East of Hollins and Cave Springs. The County of Bedfordshire lies to the North of London and the county of Hertfordshire separated the two. To the East and North East of Bedfordshire is the county of Cambridgeshire, to the North and North West is Northamptonshire, and to its East is Buckinghamshire. The town lies in the South East center of England.

    Bedford is a picturesque town with the Great Ouse River passing through the center of town. It is lined on both sides by parks and greenery. 'St. Paul's' is the primary church of Bedford and it was used as the BBC broadcasting center during the Second World War.

    The BBC comedy series "Some Mothers do 'ave 'em" which features bumbling and clumsy Frank Spencer was also filmed in Bedford.
