Congrats on puppy. 1 thing you can do is go to yr pet store and they have post markings for dogs that help them realize they Arte suppose to go potty there. Other then that watch when they eat or drink and take them out 15-20 minutes later as this depends on the breed of yr puppy.Next thing u can do is if u see them going potty inside u get up and take them directly to the door and outside this will teach them that they r suppose to go to the door when they need to potty. Other thing is get a cat box yes even puppy's can be litter trained (as i have 2 that are). Hope this helps

 Crate training is always the best way to train a dog to not use the bathroom in the house.
