WHY Do We Celebrate St Patrick's Is Day?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I don't know really. Its not such a big thing in North of Ireland because it has been hijacked by the republican side. So in turn is widely ignored by the Loyalist side.
St Patrick was not a Roman Catholic. He just brought christianity to Ireland. Maybe thats where the problem started lol.
If all the people who claim to be Irish came back for a day, the place would sink.

This is probably not what you expected to hear. Lol
