Is White Chocolate Really Chocolate?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

White chocolate is chocolate in spite of the fact that it does not have the brown color. Like the other chocolate, white chocolate has ingredients like cocoa butter, sugar and milk. The texture of white chocolate is more like milk chocolate. The color of this chocolate is not brown because it does not contain theobromine, which is found in cocoa solids and gives chocolate it brown color. The fact that white chocolate does not contain theobromine makes it edible for those people who cannot use theobromine due to reasons pertaining to health or religion.

No, it's actually sugar, cocoa butter and milk solids but since it doesn't have cocoa in it, just cocoa butter it's not actually chocolate.
