This will work for MOST kinds of birds, take some ordinary cat or dog food soak it until its soft and no lumps make sure its really juicy so it can go down their throat easy use a eyedropper or something like that (make sure you don't just drop it in there mouth but not way down their throat just so the tip of the eyedropper is in the opening of their throat) this won't work for hawks, eagles, ducks, and a few bug eating types like barn swallow and some other breeds

Like the birds in front of my house! Which are normal bird every1 sees the brown 1s!
I would call a place around you that helps with local wild life and ask what to feed it or look for a recipe online for them... I have never had much luck helping wild ones and the ones I did help wound up thinking they were people and stay here year round...
Normally, the mother will go out and eat seeds, berries etc... (depends on the type of bird) then come back to her chicks and regurgitate. The chicks then eat this.

Sorry i no you dont wanna here this but mushed up worms, seeds, and fruit, but much it up first because in the wild the mother would regurgitate the food so it would come out liquefied and easier to eat

I am an 11 year old girl and have had a few bird experiences... I found a baby goldfinch {it's eyes HAD opened!} and fed it TINY peices of watermelon... I also found online that gatorade is ACTUALLY good for thier hydration and they enjoy the sweet taste! anyway, i tried both of those and 4 to 5 days later, it started learning to fly and i let it go! I was so glad it had lived!
