From luxury ski resorts to a ghost town this city in Pitkin County, Colorado has it all. Originally a mining community it's now a gold mine of attractions.
1 – Skiing
Aspen is well known for it's mountains. Ajax, the Aspen Mountain, is one of the most popular mountains. Beginners to experts gather here for all the activities on offer.
2 – Aspen Highlands
For those that fancy a good hike rather than a ski, the highlands are suited to you. There's trails for all levels of fitness so it's open to all.
3 – Ashcroft Ghost Town
The Ashcroft Ghost Town was once a mining town. Unfortunately once the silver deposits ran out so did the people leaving it eerily desolate.
4 – Glenwood Springs
I'm sorry but I don't think there's anything cooler than swimming in hot springs. The springs also include therapy and diving pools and waterslides.
5 – Crystal Palace Dinner Theatre
This is a popular theatre where the staff perform during your meal!
