You need to visit the lenovo or IBM websites and look for drivers that are designed for the wi-fi functionality of your built-in component. They will have a support section, where you could search according to the model number. Check the downloads sections for drivers and you may find it there. If you fail to find it there you need to determine the manufacturer of the wi-fi-component (look for the original configuration list of your model number and it should be listed if it is not given in your computer configuration information) and search for their support website and download the driver there. If all else fails, go to drivers.com and register to find your driver there according to the information you learned in steps one and two.

You can go to a pc tech or your local walmarts and get Linksys and attach it to your pc. If you have a phone you will also need a linksys rooter to attach from phone 2 pc. Unless you r able to get a wireless connection just by attaching the removable wireless-G pci adapter. I have the same thing and I didn't need a rooter. Wireless bounces off the phone towers.  Try the adapter first and if it doesn't work then u will need a rooter. Linksys is the top of the line. The your wifi should work fine. Good luck!!!
