Donald Harvey aka The Angel of Death was an American serial killer who was born in Butler County, Ohio in the year 1952. He is known as the worst serial killers of all time as he confessed to killing 87 people out of who 37 to 38 have been verified till today. Donald Harvey is currently serving life imprisonment at the Warren Correctional Institution at Ohio.
He used to work at hospitals and then when he has the least supervision and access to all areas of the hospital, he used to commit his murders. His methods included pressing of towels or plastic bags over his victim's mouths, disconnecting their oxygen tanks, adding rat poison to their food, injecting air into their veins and adding poison to their food. He gave himself the nick name The Angel of Death as he thought that he was helping these people by finishing their suffering but in fact the true story was that he had become so obsessed and confident in his murders that he thought he was totally unstoppable. Soon the police got suspicious of him and started focusing all their investigation around him.
On the 18th of August in the year 1987 Harvey was sentenced to eight 20 year life imprisonment terms along with a $270, 000 fine. Donald Harvey's first scheduled parole hearing is set for 2047. He will be 95. His inmate number is A-199449.
