To speak in public is an art and you must be aware of the pros and cons of public speaking. Studying Public Speaking helps you succeed in University, increases your knowledge, and helps build your confidence. There are levels of communications i.e.

First of all, you have the courage to speak in front of the public which is not as difficult as it looks. Most of the time we are hesitant to speak in front of large number of people. There can be different reasons like most of the time we think that we may speak say wrong and then we will be humiliated, sometimes we are of the opinion that maybe people in front of us know better and we don't, which is totally wrong. Do not ever underestimate yourself! Try to participate in extracurricular activities like debates etc. and with the passage of time you will automatically learn how to face the audience and how to tackle their questions. It can happen that some of them may appear critical and aggressive in their attitude or questions. The best way to control this situation is to just answer them in a cool way with a smiling face and you will see that all will be alright.
