What Is Safari (the Internet Browser)?

Answer Question

Safari is a web browser which is used on Macintosh computers. It displays websites differently to Internet Explorer. Some websites may not display properly with Safari, but Macintosh users can choose to use Internet Explorer instead. Although Safari may not display some websites properly, it does generally have a better look to it then Internet Explorer. It also supplies a number of quick links to sites such as Google and Yahoo on a toolbar, and you can remove or add new links and save web pages to the bar for quick access.

With Safari, you cannot open a new window like you can with Internet Explorer. Instead, you have to use the toolbar and select 'new window'. If you wish to use the internet for taking surveys or adding features to a myspace profile, then you may need to consider using Internet Explorer instead.
