Well, that depends on what you mean. People at Blurtit are experienced people, having lived full lives, or they are inexperienced people who can offer good advice. Blurtit is not the place to find a doctor, but you could still get some basic non-emergency advice from someone here and follow it up at the doctor.
Blurtit has not set itself up as an expert website, like Google answers used to be, instead, Blurtit is a community of people who collectively share their knowledge for the job of it, for the progress of people within the community, it is like a cooperative for those who wish to share knowledge, the perfect educational environment.
Blurtit doesn't claim to be experts, although undoubtedly some people with expertise would certainly find their way onto Blurtit.
Since we can't all be experts at everything, people with specific expertise can often answer specific questions and other people can answer general questions.

Good well though out answer. I would add that I find some of the more naive answers to be charming. Marilyn Vos Savant says that she is always surprised at how much she learns from other people.

And some Blurters are completely inexperienced but they never let that stop them answering questions they don't know - such as health or medicine. Blurtit doesn't stop them, either.
