What Is The Narrowing Or Stricture Of An Aorta?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

You kind of answered your own question if you know the aorta is the large artery coming off of your heart.  A stricture is a narrowing of the large artery or vessel of the aorta.  The heart must work harder when a person has a portion of the aorta that is narrowed.  This can lead to health issues because the heart must work harder than normal.
