How Much Water Do Miniature Roses Need And How Far Apart Should They Be Planted From Each Other?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Miniature roses generally like to be watered regularly so the best way to do that is to check that the soil is always moist but not soggy. In the summer they require water daily, but in the winter you can get away with watering them less often. If you keep your miniature roses in a plant pot, the best way to tell if you have given them enough water is when the water starts running out of the bottom. Once it does, move onto the next plant and so on.

As for how far apart you should plant them, well it all depends upon the variety of miniature roses you are planting. As a rule it is usually best to plant them around 15 inches apart from each other. If you have mini-floras then they should be planted around 2-3 feet apart from each other. Overall it is better to research the type of miniature rose you are getting to check that you do have the right amount of space available for it.
