Are My Lovebird Eggs Fertile Has Air Sack At The Top?

Answer Question

    Thanks for posting your question.

They might be because, if you have candled them within about 5 days of being laid and there is an air sack at the top, then the eggs are most likely not fertile. But if you candled them within 5 days of being laid and they have veins, then yes the eggs are fertile. If you candled them after 5 days of being laid and it has an air sack at the top, then it may be fertile or may not be (if you have done this, then just leave the egg with the lovebirds as they will take care of it if it is fertile or they will eat it if it is damaged or not fertile, the bird may also abandon the egg if not fertile, if the bird abandons it then throw it away.but make sure that the bird has abandoned it or she may just lay another egg to replace it.)
