Media analysis is also sometimes linked with media evaluation which results in a form that organizations come to know what their media exposure is in comparison to their competitors.

Some organizations hire special media experts as to help them for a media analysis .When a person works on a media analysis the result can lead to answers as like how an event is publically discussed by the media like they might use various story parts again and again, reference to certain people etc. When an organization will work on a certain thing whether they will be noted and covered than others?
