Is There Any Actual Evidence That Lyndon Johnson Was Involved In The Kennedy Assassination?

A woman named Madeleine Duncan Brown, who claimed to have been Johnson's secret lover and to have borne a child by him, wrote a book called Texas in the Morning in which she said that both she and Johnson had attended a meeting hosted by Texas oilmen on the day before Kennedy was murdered. She stated that, at one point, Johnson whispered to her that, after the next day, he wouldn't have to worry about those Kennedy boys any more.

Conspiracy theorists who believe that Johnson was "in on it" also cite a photograph known as "The Wink." It shows the scene on Air Force One as Lyndon Johnson is being sworn in as the new President, following Kennedy's death. Almost everyone there is ashen-faced, particularly Kennedy's widow, Jacky, who stands still spattered with blood from her husband's wounds. In the photograph, Johnson turns to his friend, a smiling-faced Albert Thomas, who winks at him.
