Free icons actually are the small images that can be downloaded from the internet without paying any cost and people download them for their personal use. They are not rich in graphics and they do not even have that much enhanced and advanced effects that are being used by other groups on commercial level. So, to have the best the product one must prefer to have new and full featured icons and obviously this can not be achieved with the help of the free icons.

Instead of the free icons the quality of those icons that have been created professionally will have more enhanced effects and so the quality of such icons is better than the free icons. So it is better idea to use professionally created icons instead of the free icons at commercial level. Another major reason is that it is possible that the free icons are not suitable to present the application and because of this reason application might not get appreciation from the users.

So, to attract more users to the applications, the icons must be fully compatible with the application by all means. Mostly it happens that the users get attracted to the icons first instead of going into the depth of the features of the application.
