The Circumference Of A Circle Is 50 Pi(3.14) ,can You Find The Area?

Answer Question

4 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

    Area = PI x radius x radius
    Here
    Radius = diameter/2
    = 50/2
    = 25
    Pi = 3.14

    Putting the values in the formula you will get

    Area = 3.14(25)*(25)
    = 3.14(625)
    = 1962.5 >>>answer

        This is the same question that was on my math test and this is the answer. Its right if u leave pi as pi and dont put it as 3.14

        C=2pi r
        since C equals 50 pi then

        50 pi=2pi r
        divide 2pi by both sides
        50pi/2pi= 25=r
        radius is 25

        now u find the area of the circle
        A=pi r squared
        A= pi*25*25
        A= 625pi
        so the area of the circle is 625 pi
