The Town House is a Grade A listed building and holds a library, district courts, theatre space, meeting rooms, arts wings and offices in the town of Hamilton, Scotland. The building is owned and run by South Lanarkshire Council.

The building was built in three stages from the late 20th century and completed in 1920. A beautiful and imposing building, it has recently undergone a £450,000 regeneration. This included a state of the art 900 seater auditorium, a spacious arts wing with a base for arts and community development teams and refurbishment of the library including a new IT suite.

It was re-opened by Her Royal Highness, the Princess Royal on September 8th 2004.

Since its opening it has held a variety of amateur productions, pantomimes, community events, variety shows, music concerts and in early 2006 announced its first West End musical visit of 'Blood Brothers'.

The five meeting rooms are regularly used and the building holds a function sweet for up to 150 people with a small stage perfect for wedding receptions and parties. With its own internal kitchen and catering, it is an ideal venue for entertaining.

Now holding regular arts classes in music, drama, dance and art the building has become a thriving venue for the local community.
