The most popular areas for Safari trips are the African countries of Kenya, Zambia,Tanzania, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

Kenya - this has been going through a period of change, with an influx of cheaper tours arriving in the country which have spoilt the safari experience. There has been improvements of recent with more private wildlife reserves being opened after rejuvenation from owners, which offer a more exclusive wildlife experience. A good time to go is during the Wildebeest Migration from July to October.

Zambia - a beautiful country with stunning landscapes and wildlife. Safari guides are very well trained and provide a quality experience here.

Tanzania - With several National Parks, Tanzania offers plenty of wildlife which is particularly spectacular during December through to March when the migration take place. The standard of tour guides here is average and could be improved.

Botswana - This is a very unspoilt destination, which reflects a true African experience. With an array of stunning wildlife, it fares better than other destinations on a peaceful level - it is rarely overcrowded here.

Zimbabwe - This is currently a country with some political issues but it has not affected tourism. Zimbabwe offers the best tour guides in Africa and a marvellous range of wildlife.
