What Is The Climate In The Northern Hemisphere?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Earth is divided into two hemispheres namely, Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemispheres. The spherical division being exactly half, exactly half of Earth's surface comes under the Northern Hemisphere. On the Earth, the Northern Hemisphere surrounds most of the land and has around 88-90% of the humans.

During the period of December to February the region around the temperate zone experiences winter and summer lasts from June to August. The Earth's perihelion during the month of January is fastest. Which means the northern hemisphere winter would be much shorter and less severe as compared to the southern hemisphere winter at equal latitudes.

The Tropical areas generally experience the rainy season during the months of 'summer' and dry season through the 'winter' months. Areas which are

North of the Artic Circle are expected to face some days in the summer season when the sun will generally never set, and some days in winter season when the sun will never rise.
