    Federal Bureau of Investigation is known as F.B.I.  This is one of the well-known and most glamorous departments of the Federal government. F.B.I was founded in 1908 as a bureau within the United States department of justice. This organization has the authority to investigate violations of federal laws and matters. The Identification department of F.B.I was created in 1924 with 810188 fingerprint records and now the F.B.I has the fingerprint cards of above 100000000 people. Washington, D.C is the head quarter of F.B.I and it has 52 field offices throughout the state. Federal Bureau of Investigation has the most modern equipped laboratory and its scientists are daily making examinations of documents, blood, hair, soil and other types of matters.

    Federal Bureau of Investigation or F.B.I was selected as the agency of espionage, sabotage and other national defence matter in June, 1939 by the president of United States. During the time the F.B.I maintained the internal security of the nation and broke up various enemy spy rings through out the world.
