    I have horses if you are talking about the spot on the inner side of the leg it is a calas when the horses lay down the rest their legs like we cross our knees this can be peeled off and it feels like a waxy substance. I peel my horsed all the time it doesn't hurt them.

      If your horse has dry patches it might mean that your horse has a disease or is just losing hair. But in any case ask a vet for help!
