    Ray Wilkins made six hundred and ninety five league appearances for twelve different professional clubs in a career that lasted twenty four years.  

    Ray Wilkins first professional club was London side Chelsea.  He signed for the club in nineteen seventy three and went on to play one hundred and seventy nine games for the Blues.  

    In nineteen seventy nine Wilkins moved North to play for Manchester United.  Wilkins spent five years and played one hundred and sixty games for the Old Trafford side.  

    Next Wilkins moved abroad and to AC Milan where he spent three years and played seventy three league games, scoring twice.  

    A brief stint at French team Paris St Germain was followed by a move to Glasgow club Rangers.   After two years and seventy games Wilkins returned to England and another London club Queens Park Rangers for the first of two stints in nineteen eighty nine.

    Wilkins finished his career in ninety seven, paying his final game for Leyton Orient.
