What Was Christopher Columbus's Childhood Like?

Christopher Columbus is considered as the first European to discover America. He was born in the year 1451 in Genoa, Italy. His father was a wool weaver. Complete information on his childhood is not available however, it is said that he received incomplete education and according to his writings, he went to the sea at the age of 10.He spoke in Genoese dialect. In 1473, at the age of 22, he began his apprenticeship as a business agent.

He loved to sail when he was just a boy. He was born in genoa Italy.

He was special needs and LD.  His childhood was bad.  He was beaten and drowned.

He drowned at the age of nine.  His childhood was short.

He did not drown because he died at the age of 55, not nine.

He got beaten up alot and then died

I say life for him was rough because there was no technology back then.They had to use the stars to navigate there way.So life for christopher columbus had to be rough.
