What Can I Do For My Dog?
My dog laid in some house insulation. About 2 1/2 weeks ago and since then he scratches, he is losing his hair and his skin is red and scally, black around his eyes and some of the skin looks like elephant skin and it has an odor. . What can I do for him? We have given him aveeno baths and kept his skin rubbed in a&D ointment. It is not getting worse or better.

Your dog is definitely suffering from Magne. Scratching, loss of hair patches, bad odor and rough skin are all symptoms of Magne. You should take him to a vet for proper medication as soon as possible.

Take it to the vet so they can do a test and see for sure what it is, if it is mange there are different types and you need to know how to treat it .
