What Music Has Come From Brighton?

The Popular music style is said to have come from Brighton. Popular music is said to be one that comes from a number of musical styles and is distributed by the mass media. The two main bands associated with the Brighton pop music scene are 'Fatboy Slim' and 'The Levellers'. Fatboy Slim makes music in the dance music genre. His style is typically called 'big beat' and is an eclectic mix of the hip hop, trance, break beat, rock, R&B and house styles. The other band, 'The Levellers' are one of the most famous Folk-Punk, Alternative Rock bands that have managed to become very popular despite little attention from music critics. Founded in the year 1988, they are a Brighton based band who has a stark reputation for their vocal stands on various political and environmental issues.
