How Much Oil Does A 1995 Honda Civic DX. I Believe It Is A 1.5?

I believe my dip stick is the wrong one for my vehicle. I have been looking on here to see how much is supposed to be in it, but haven't came up with anything. I just changed it and my wife put the oil in it, and I think she put around 6 quarts plus a small can of restore in it. The dip stick shows good, but I believe this is to much.

4 quarts is the usual amount in a small engine like that. My 6.0 liter engine take 6 quarts. Go to the dealership and get a new dip stick. Drain the oil from the engine and put in four quarts. Too much oil is just as damaging as not enough.

Not sure what the specs are but I have never seen a Honda civic that will hold 6 quarts. Call your Honda dealer NOW.   Ask them
