What Is The Largest Island In The World And To Which Country Does It Belong?

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

That would be Greenland I believe.  It is a province of Denmark, but it is self-governing.

By the way, Australia is considered a continent, not an island.  If you are going to include the continents in the definition of an island, then the answer is Antarctica, which is not owned by any country.
