          - You need to turn on the component you wish to program.
- Then, press and release the component button on the remote control that corresponds that of the TV, VCR, etc. This will illuminate the 'on-off' button on the remote control panel, which will remain on.
           Then you have to press both, the component and the 'on-off' buttons. The illuminated button will turn off initially and will then automatically come on again.
- You are then required to release both buttons, after the 'on-off' button turns back on. Make sure that the button remains illuminated.

          - Immediately, press and release the 'play' button. If the component does not respond in five seconds, continue the exercise every five seconds, till the component turns off.
