What Are Some Words Relating To Laughter And Their Usage?

Some of the most common words are giggle, chuckle and snigger.  Giggle is used to describe someone laughing with their mouth shut or if they are trying to suppress the laughter.
Chuckle is usually quite a short laugh, which is also sometimes suppressed.
Snigger is used to have some kind of negative implication.  Someone sniggers when they feel smug or pleased with themselves.  It is often used in a derisory fashion.
