Earth rotates from west to east ; so if a plane is travelling from United States to Asian countries like India ; the travel time should take longer.

Yes, it is.When we travel from US to India through the Europe route the earth rotation makes the journey slower and vise versa when we go through pacific route. But the speed of the plane is changed according to that. It takes almost 18hours from US to India through Europe route, which is always the same.
