When Did Cadbury Creme Egg First Come About?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Cadbury Creme Egg was first introduced in 1971. Since the eggs were first introduced, they have dropped greatly in size and the 2007 Cadbury Creme eggs were much smaller than in 2006.

Cadbury Creme Eggs can be purchased indivudually, or they can be purchased in packs. The lowest amount of Creme Eggs in a pack is three, whilst the most is a box of twenty-four.

Crere Eggs in the United were orginally wrapped in red, blue and yellow foil, but there has since been a colour change wih blue being replaced with purple. In the US, Creme Eggs are wrapped in foil with green on it.

Since the release of the eggs, Cadbury have produced a number of products which are based on Creme Eggs, including Caramel Eggs, Chocolate Creme Eggs (with a chocolate fondant filling as opposed to the Creme Eggs white and yellow fondant which resembles yolk), Mini Creme Eggs (bite-sized) and much more.
