Native Americans is the title given to those indigenous people from the sections of North America now included in the continental United States of America, plus portions of Alaska. They constitute a big collection of diverse tribes, states and ethnic collectives, many of which are still in existence in the form of political communities.

The tribes differ on a large scale from one another, in terms of language, attire, conventions etc, although there are particular factors which are common and shared by tribes.

Tribes like the Navajo emphasised on the preservation of a pleasant relationship with the spiritual world thorough rituals etc.

The most commonly practised religion amongst these people is called as the native American Church, which is a syncretistic church, accommodating characteristics of various different tribes.
