What Do Scientologists Believe About Weight Loss?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

As a religion, Scientology has nothing to do with weight loss. However, it is being marketed as a commercial venture which guarantees weight loss without dieting. The founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, does not dictate in his principles anything about weight loss. Yoga is propounded as one of the methods of discovering spirituality in Scientology though. And as commonly known, yoga does help one lose weight in a healthy manner if done regularly.

The main principles that Scientologists do believe are listed as follows:

A belief in a supreme deity
    Human incarnation
The origin of Universe and Life itself
    Rebirth and
    Salvation

Scientologists believe that salvation can be obtained by way of the methods and principles of Scientology, the main objective of which is to realise the true nature of a human as an immortal spirit.
