She is not fixed yet she is over a two years old would this have something to do with it.

There can be a number of causes of weight loss in dogs.
yes it can be related to being entire, but if she seems fit and well then it's probably not the cause.
shar peis can have a serious condition of which weght loss can be a feature, so i would suggest taking her back to the vets and asking them to check her for it.
it's a genetic disease called "familial shar pei fever". It's a bit of a misnomer because they don't have to have a fever! It's also called "swollen hock syndrome" because some of them get joint swellings, but again, not all of them do.

Talk to your vet about Shar-Pei fever. I lost a Shar-Pei to this genetic disease. It was too late to really treat once we found out. My vet had several Shar-peis that he was treating for this disease and has been successful due to catching it early. Looking at the snout of this Shar-Pei reminds me of my Shar-Pei that I lost.
