I just started dating this guy and he has a 2 year old little girl. I have never dated anyone with a kid... Can anyone give me any thoughts?

I have dated a couple with kids... It is best to see where it is gonna go before meeting the kids or just meeting the kids in a friendly non romantic setting... When I see the kids they still say hi to me... I guess it all depends on what age the kids are and how well the understand him dating... Never had an issue with the mom in those cases, but a couple of the kids did want to call me mom which was weird... This is something you should discuss with him

Honestly that is not a concern at this point. He should not involve her in the dating process between the two of you until you both know you are in love and want to take it further. That way if it does not work between you she is not hurt. If it does you get a wonderful package and you did not even have to give birth. Depending on her age, her mother may be more of a concern depending on her maturity level and behavior. Leaving the child out of your dating for now is always best.

In my opinion, I think it completely depends on how you feel about the situation. There's nothing wrong with feeling any way that you may feel about it. If you really like the guy, try it out - you may fall in love with him, and you may get an extra gift, being his daughter.

If I were in your situation, I'd just try it out, give the guy a chance, and if it's not for me, or I didn't feel comfortable, tell the guy that. Just be honest with him.

        :) I hope this helps!

Yes you should be worry. When dating a man with a child, the child mother is going to be in his life because of the child. It the mother of the child is mature and is in a relationship with someone else. You might not get the problem as bad if she is single.
