You can first make her calm by telling that they are her parents and they do everything-good or bad only for their child's success and some parents think that it is beating. Ya it's wrong. But the only way to save herself from beating is that is to please her parents and try to keep them satisfied. The other way is that she can talk to her mother frankly and tell her that it pains when they beat because a mother's heart is soft  and maybe she will understand her problem.

If she is being hurt and not just disciplined....she NEEDS to talk to a teacher, or a friends parent or another relative. I understand she doesn't want to get her parents in trouble, but they are not being the kind of parents your friend needs! Kids need loving parents or punish their child when needed! Do you or your friend go to church? I'm sure that their are people there who would help! Good luck hon!
