Can You Be Happy Single? I Know I Am Not.
Everyday I feel empty. I am pursuing the career that I want and I have great supportive friends and family, but for Christ sakes I need a woman to have intelligence discussions with and somebody to hug. Why is this proving such a difficult task? I am 20 and dead.

Thanks. I should have re-read what I typed because I sound completely desperate. I have been single for a while and on the surface I seem fine but inside I just want a partner to share moments with.
It's possible to be single and happy. I'm the type of girl that likes to be in relationships, but in between breakups it's important for time for yourself to get to reacquaint you with you! I like having a lot of me time, not having to answer to anyone, spending time with my friends, etc when I'm single. I do however understand being single can feel lonely and be especially hard when it seems everyone else has someone. I think it is great you are pursuing your career though. If you keep working hard on that and on yourself the right girl will find you. Hopefully she will be someone working hard towards her future as well. I wish you the best, just try to live your life the best you can until you run into her.

Yes, well I study in university and I am surrounded by like-minded creative types who I connect with easily. The only problem is that they all have partners - but I am more than happy being their friends, because it helps with my confidence a lot. If I am going to meet my partner it is going to be where I study.

I've been alone and a single parent and happy for 12 years..Really....!!!!! Yea it gets lonely at times...but I have my wonderful kids to keep me company and they give me plenty of huggggggssssss!!! LOL...you will find someone..your young.....smile.....

Well welcome to the club!!! Ahahaha i know these questions are ages ago!!! Ahaha but i wanna answer it!! ;p il pretend i dont know you.. Lol well I can say I AM VERY HAPPY.. =) yeah... Whenever somebody would come a long.. I would just feel disturb..LOL for i know i am still NOT ready.. Well we all have preference when it comes to relationship.. I prefer serious ONLY.. I don't have intentions of wasting anyone's time.. Especially mine.. ;p for now.. My career comes first.. And i really do think i still can't take good care of HIM.. Being HAPPY?? Im addicted to be around with friends.. Whenever they are there.. I can just be happy =) i just have to take a hike for some occasions like VALENTINES.. Ahahaha find what makes you happy and try to focus and give more time on that area.. =)
