Hygiene in the Ww1 trenches was not very nice there were rats that grew to the size of domestic cats because they were feeding off the dead bodies of the soldiers. The toilets(Latrines) also weren't very nice because they were holes in the ground and the Germans used to know where they were so they would shell them.

The hygiene in the tranches was the worst you could imagine, trench foot was a Commin problem. Their were no toilets in them so a bucket was used and they didn't wash their hands after taking a poo! Rats grew as big as Deers because of the dead bodies laying around -the deer rats ate the bodies. Many infections spreed around and you would get ill very often. The smell was terrible but after a while people got used to it! But when the people got use to the smell the deer rats attacked, causing the soldiers to poop everywhere making a big mess!.

The people who were bitten by the deer rats turned into where-rat-deer people, then all hell broke loose

Cleanliness and hygiene in the trenches were strictly enforced. There were no toilets in the trenches so they had to go to the toilet in latrines which were basically holes in the ground, the Germans used to know where these were so they would shell them. People could not wash their hands at all and the smell was terrible but after a while people got used to it. Disease caused by poor hygiene had dogged armies throughout history and dysentery had always been a big problem. There were rats that grew to the size of domestic cats because they were feeding off the corpses. Many infections spread around easily and you would get ill very often.

Cleanliness and the hygiene in the trenches in would war one were really important. There was no toilets in the trenches but there was something they would class as toilets and that was the latrines and it is just a hole in the ground. The men couldnt wash their hand at all in the trenches. There were lots of rats and some of them grew to the size of domestic cats because they were feeding off of the dead body of the men. Many of the infections were easy to spread because of the poor hygiene level and every one is close together

The hygiene in the trenches was not very good. Fresh water was a problem and it had to be kept in big tanks. As there was just enough for drinking, the soldiers could not get washed and they had to go to the toilet in a bucket.
